The Pitt Panthers continue to aggressively pursue veteran wide receivers.
Monday night, Tiquan Underwood extended an offer to Jayden Higgins, who recently announced his transfer from Eastern Kentucky.
The 6’4″, 210-pound wide out enjoyed a productive two seasons at Eastern Kentucky catching 29 passes for 394 yards and 3 touchdowns as a freshman. Higgins followed that up with a 58 catch, 757-yard, 10 touchdown performance this season.
Since entering the portal, Higgins has also received offers from Mississippi State, Iowa State, Virginia, Tulane, Middle Tennessee State, Troy and Minnesota. This past weekend, Higgins made his first official visit as he visited Iowa State.
After receiving the offer from Pitt, Pittsburgh Sports Now caught up with Higgins who told us that Underwood has plans to come visit him this week in Florida.
Higgins also tells us that the schools in contact with him the most now are Iowa State, Virginia, Mississippi State and Northwestern.
