Pitt Covers the Spread for Seventh-Straight Game

PITTSBURGH — Pitt may be Las Vegas’ least favorite college hoops team this season.

The Panthers improved their record against-the-spread to 8-3-1 on the year, covering the 13.5-point spread in an 82-56 win against underdog North Florida on Saturday. Pitt has now covered in each of its last seven games and sits amongst the top-30 teams in the country against the spread, per The Panthers also own the best record against the spread in the ACC.

The Panthers have won six of these last seven games outright, and covered as an underdog in their loss to Vanderbilt. The one game that Pitt failed to cover, it beat Alabama State by 19 when the spread was 20.

In Pitt’s 12 games this season, the over has hit seven times, while the under has hit five times.

Pitt will look to continue its dominance against Las Vegas in its next game on Tuesday, Dec. 20 at Syracuse (9 p.m. on ESPNU).
