Five star prospect Meleek Thomas has now played three games with his City Reapers squad at Overtime Elite.

As Pitt takes on North Carolina on Friday, several local recruits will be in attendance for the matchup.

Meleek Thomas and Amere Brown will both be in attendance for the game.

Thomas is a five-star prospect out of Lincoln Park who is ranked as the No. 7 prospect in the nation in the class of 2025. The No. 1 point guard prospect in the nation holds offers from Pitt, Indiana, Missouri, and more, and has earned interest from programs such as Duke and Kansas. On Thursday, Pitt head coach Jeff Capel was out at CCBC watching Thomas play for Lincoln Park in a big WPIAL matchup against Laurel Highlands in which he dropped 20 points.

Brown is a 5-foot-9 guard out of Woodland Hills who holds an offer from Bryant. Thomas and Brown recently visited Penn State for an unofficial and are now taking a trip to Pitt for the Panthers’ big game against North Carolina.

Pitt commit Carlton Carrington will be in the house for the matchup as well. Carrington is coming off a 36-point game this past week and has had a stellar start to his senior season.

Philadelphia guard Jalil Bethea will also be in attendance for the game. Bethea is a 6-foot-4 sharpshooter in the class of 2024. Pitt extended an offer in August.

Five-star prospect Alier Maluk is also heading to the game, a source confirmed to PSN. Maluk’s visit was first reported by Houston Wilson of Rivals.

In addition, WPIAL basketball standout Peter Kramer will be in attendance. Kramer is a 6-foot-4 guard who plays for Hampton. Associate head coach Tim O’Toole invited him to watch the matchup.
