Aliquippa 2024 4-Star Linebacker Cam Lindsey Attending Pitt Football Junior Day
A good recruiting development for Pat Narduzzi and Pitt.
Earlier in the week, Aliquippa 2024 4-star linebacker Cam Lindsey told PSN that he was going to try and attend Pitt’s Junior Day but wasn’t 100% sure because of a high school basketball game that he has today.
Well Lindsey has found time because he let it be known this morning that he’s in the South Side with the Panthers program.

It’s not an understatement to say that Lindsey is a major priority for this upcoming Pitt recruiting class.
Lindsey (6’2, 195-pounds) is an extremely athletic and talented linebacker that can make plays sideline to sideline that would excel in Pitt’s attack style defense. Not even taking into account Pitt lost out on 2024 Central Catholic 4-star linebacker Anthony Speca, Lindsey is the elite type of local prospect that Pitt wants to keep home.
PSN believes that currently Lindsey’s recruitment could come down to a battle of Pitt vs. Penn State, with the Nittany Lions currently in the lead.
This weekend, it might benefit the Pitt staff to use the recruiting pitch of staying home and playing with former WPIAL starts M.J. Devonshire, Elliot Donald, Nahki Johnson, Donovan McMillon, Derrick Davis and others. I’d imagine the staff will also try and sell Lindsey on the opportunity to get on the field earlier, something that might be difficult at Penn State considering the number of talented linebackers they’ve signed over the last few years.
Along with Pitt and Penn State, Lindsey holds other offers from West Virginia, Cincinnati, Maryland, UConn, Syracuse and Toledo.
Of course he’s going to PSU…who wouldn’t want to play for Manny Diaz defense?
Not sure PSU will have room…tons of high 4 and 5 star in the LB room.

PSN won’t ban him. Free speech and the first amendment protect his right to post. He is not vulgar or has not crossed any lines. The best thing to do is just do not read the comments anymore. Or if you read them just do not respond. Once the responses stop then he will, too.

Pitt Fans laughing because we finished 3rd in the Big 10 East. $hitt would be battling it out with Rutgers for last place, lucky they play in the weak ACC. We didn’t want you as a rival your team hasn’t been relevant in years, the last two times we did play we are 2-0. Need your own stadium, good recruits, need a football conference not basketball. Come to Big we’d love to beat up on you every year. We are going to continue to dominate the state while your team continues being mediocre at best.

I would expect if this young man is interested in playing football for a program with high integrity and the opportunity to win championships than he would obviously pick Pitt over Penn State. I am always amazed how anyone could confuse Penn State with a successful football program. Since Pat Narduzzi has taken over the Pitt program Pitt has averaged just under 8 wins per season with the last two years at ten wins. This puts Pitt in conversation with only a few elite programs.
