Recapping A Busy Monday of Recruiting For The Pitt Football Staff
Before hosting a big group of recruits this coming Saturday, Pat Narduzzi and his staff were out on the road recruiting on Monday, which resulted in them extending a number of offers.
PSN keeps you updated throughout the day on any recruiting news in the Frank Walker Daily Notebook, but in case you missed it, here’s a quick recap of the large list of offers the Panther program extended yesterday. As you will see, all of the offers went to players in Florida.
*Class of 2026 ATH Efrem White out of Vero Beach High School in Vero Beach, Fla. White holds offers from Alabama, UCF, USF, Florida State and NC State.

*2025 athlete Tarvos Alford out of John Carroll Catholic High School in Fort Pierce, Fla. He holds offers from SEC schools in Auburn, Florida, Tennessee, South Carolina, Big Ten schools in Indiana and Penn State, UCF in the Big 12 and more. Alford received the news from Tiquan Underwood.

*2024 DB/WR Xavion Griffin from Vero Beach High School in Vero Beach, Fla and this is his first D-1 offer. Griffin received the news from Tiquan Underwood.
*2026 OL and DL Micah Champ Smith from John Carroll Catholic High School in Fort Pierce, Fla. Smith stands at 6-foot-6, weighs 285 pounds, and is only in his first year of high school. Smith holds offers from Miami, USF, Indiana and Florida Atlantic.
*2025 Athlete Robert Jones III, an athlete out of the Class of 2025. Jones plays for John Carroll Catholic High School in Fort Pierce, Fla. He holds offers from South Florida, Auburn and Florida Atlantic.
*2024 3-star athlete Cai Bates out of Edgewater High School in Orlando, Fla. On 247sports, he is rated the No. 65 ATH in the county and the No. 83 player in Florida in the Class of 2024. Bates holds offers from two ACC schools in Louisville and Miami, two Big 12 schools in West Virginia and Iowa State, two SEC schools in Kentucky and South Carolina, two Big Ten schools in Indiana and Rutgers, two American schools in East Carolina and Temple, Marshall in the Sun Belt and an Independent school in Liberty.

*Pitt offers Chasen Johnson, a defensive back out of the Class of 2024. Johnson plays for Seminole high school in Samford, Fla. He holds offers from Iowa State and UConn.

*2024 offensive lineman Dwayne Chaney from Centennial High School in Port Saint Lucie, Florida. This is the first D-1 offer for Chaney, who got the news from Tiquan Underwood.
*2024 lineman Jordan Thomas from St. Lucie West Centennial High School. This is the first D-1 offer for Thomas, who got the news from Tiquan Underwood.
*2024 wide receiver/defensive back Jordyn Bridgewater from West Orange, Florida. Bridgewater holds offers from Iowa State and Liberty and got the news from Tim Salem.
