Panthers on the Hunt: Wrapping Up a Busy Couple Days for Pitt Football Recruiting

The Pitt football coaches are hitting many of their most popular recruiting territories this week as they extend offers and hunt out Panthers of the future.

On Monday, many members of the staff were busy recruiting Florida and yesterday, they continued to recruit Florida heavy while also moving North and were busy offering young talent in Georgia and elsewhere.

PSN will keep you updated throughout the day on any recruiting news in the Frank Walker Daily Notebook, but in case you missed it, here’s a quick recap of the large list of offers the Panther program extended on Tuesday.

*2026 defensive lineman Bryce Perry-Wright from Buford, Georgia. Perry-Wright (6’3″, 240) holds other offers from Arkansas, Florida, Michigan, Michigan State, South Carolina and Texas A&M.

*2025 wide receiver Jordan Allen from Buford, Georgia and is also an accomplished member of their track team. The sophomore wideout also has been offered by Memphis, Florida, Duke, Mississippi State, Liberty and Georgia Tech.

*2024 offensive lineman Devin Forrester from Buford, Georgia. Forrester (6’4”, 280) has other offers from Duke, Florida State, Michigan, Mississippi State, Georgia Tech, Florida Atlantic and Memphis.

*2025 running back Jeffrey Overton from Freedom High School in Woodbridge, Va. He holds offers from Virginia Tech, Boston College, Maryland, Duke, James Madison and West Virginia

*2025 defensive end Javion Hilson from Cocoa High School in Cocoa, Fla. His Twitter bio lists himself as 6-foot-5 and 230 pounds. He holds offers from Western Kentucky, Marshall, UCF, Florida A&M, Rhode Island, making Pitt the sixth school to offer him.

*Class of 2024 quarterback Henry Hasselbeck. Hasselbeck is the son of former Boston College and NFL quarterback Matt Hasselbeck. Henry Hasselbeck plays football for Xaverian Brothers in Westwood, Mass, the same high school his father played for. He currently holds two offers in football with Alabama-Birmingham (UAB) offering him first. He is also currently committed to play lacrosse for Maryland.

*Pitt offers 2024 offensive lineman Marc Nave from Central Catholic High School in Toledo, Ohio. 247sports ranks him as the No. 36 interior offensive lineman and the No. 23 player in Ohio in his class. He holds 14 Division I offers, which includes Cincinnati, Boston College, Duke and Kentucky.

*2025 defensive lineman Nicco Maggio from Buford High School in Buford, Ga. Maggio holds offers from Mississippi State, West Virginia, Arkansas, Duke and Wake Forest.

*2026 wide receiver Zay Alexander from Rockledge High School in Rockledge, Florida. Alexander (6-foot, 175 pounds) also holds an offer from Liberty, Utah, South Florida and Massachusetts and has received interest from Wake Forest, Indiana, Iowa State and others.

*2024 3-star OT Tye Hylton from Oviedo, Florida. Hylton also has offers from Florida State, Rutgers, Marshall, Central Florida and South Florida.

That guy didn’t go to college. He’s telling people that Ped State is going to win the natty. No educated person actually believes that.
