Class of 2024 WPIAL Recruits Who Have Picked Up Power Five Offers

All eyes are on the Class of 2024, and after a number of WPIAL recruits from the Class of 2023 wound up at schools like Pitt, Penn State and West Virginia, the follow-up has already begun.

Anthony Speca started off the Class of 2024 by committing to Penn State, and there are quite a few 2024 recruits who have picked up Power Five offers — including five-star Quinton Martin.

This is a list of the confirmed WPIAL recruits in the class that have picked up Power Five offers. There are likely some that have slipped through the cracks, and there will certainly be many more to come. But let’s take a look at who has:

2024 WPIAL Recruits With Power Five Offers:

Quinton Martin — five-star athlete from Belle Vernon High School in Belle Vernon

Martin (6-foot-3, 205 pounds) holds offers from Florida State, Kentucky, Miami, Michigan, Michigan State, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Penn State, Pitt, Rutgers, Syracuse, Tennessee, Texas, Texas A&M, Virginia Tech, West Virginia and Wisconsin.

Speca (6-foot-2, 220 pounds) committed to Penn State over offers from Boston College, Cincinnati, Colorado, Florida State, Louisville, Maryland, Michigan, Michigan State, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Pitt, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas A&M, West Virginia and Wisconsin.

Cameron Lindsey — three-star linebacker from Aliquippa High School in Aliquippa

Lindsey (6-foot-2, 190 pounds) holds offers from Bowling Green, Cincinnati, Connecticut, Kent State, Massachusetts, Penn State, Pitt, Syracuse, Toledo and West Virginia.

Cory (6-foot-4, 290 pounds) holds offers from Boston College, Cincinnati, Duke, Kansas, Kansas State, Kentucky, Louisville, Maryland, Miami, Oregon, Penn State, Pitt, Vanderbilt, West Virginia, Connecticut, Miami (Oh.) and Toledo.

Peter Gonzales — three-star wide receiver from Central Catholic High School in Pittsburgh

Gonzales (6-foot-2, 195 pounds) holds offers from Cincinnati, Miami, Penn State, Pitt, Virginia Tech, West Virginia, Wisconsin, Central Michigan and Eastern Kentucky.

Julian Dugger — three-star quarterback from Penn Hills High School in Monroeville

Dugger (6-foot-4, 210 pounds) holds offers from Massachusetts, Pitt and Toledo.

Jason Cross Jr. — athlete from Bishop Canevin High School in Pittsburgh

Cross (6-foot-2, 170 pounds) holds offers from Boston College, Maryland, Iowa State, Kentucky, Toledo, Bowling Green, West Virginia, Penn State, Kent State and Akron.

Jackson Pons — athlete from Norwin High School in Pittsburgh

Pons (6-foot-1, 185 pounds) holds offers from Bowling Green, Central Michigan, Eastern Michigan, Kent State, Mississippi State, Ohio and Toledo.

Cole Sullivan — linebacker from Central Catholic High School in Pittsburgh

Sullivan (6-foot-3, 200 pounds) holds offers from Boston College, Cincinnati, Duke, Indiana, Iowa State, Kent State, Miami (Oh.), Notre Dame, Oklahoma, Penn State, Pitt, West Virginia and Virginia Tech.

Ty Yuhas — defensive lineman from Central Catholic High School in Pittsburgh

Yuhas (6-foot-3, 260 pounds) holds offers from Kent State, Eastern Michigan and Pitt.

Tyree Alualu — athlete from North Allegheny High School in Wexford

Alualu (6-foot, 210 pounds) holds offers from Oregon and Liberty.

Clinton Robinson — athlete from Keystone Oaks High in Pittsburgh

Robinson (6-foot-1, 190 pounds) has received offers from Miami (Oh.), Akron and West Virginia.

As an alumni of Penn Hills! I’m appalled at the fact someone would say that Penn Hills High School is in Monroeville! Karl please correct that on the profile of Julian Dugger!

he also said Norwin was in Pittsburgh and the aint even in the same county
