PITTSBURGH – The Florida State Seminoles have pulled off the upset of the day, much to the liking of every Panther fan.
Facing No. 13 Miami on the road in South Florida, Florida State erased a 25-point deficit to begin the second half and stormed back to upset the Hurricanes on a buzzer-beating triple by Matthew Cleveland.
A win against Syracuse would place the Panthers back in first place in the ACC. No. 6 Virginia plays at North Carolina with a chance to tie Pitt atop the standings.
If UNC were to upset UVA and Pitt defeat the Orange, a win at Notre Dame on Wednesday would clinch a share of the ACC regular-season title. Pitt also faces Miami on the road next Saturday to close the regular season.
Imagine the odds. LOL
