Upcoming Pitt Football Spring Visitors

Now that we’ve entered the month of March, things will start getting active with the Pitt football program in terms of on and off field activities.

Pat Narduzzi and his 2023 team will begin official spring practices on March 14th and after a month-long dead period, the Panthers will be hosting high school recruits on unofficial visits.

Most of these visits will take place on days of practice but not all of them. Here are some of the names that Pittsburgh Sports Now has gathered that plan on traveling to Pitt. As always, we’ll add to this list as soon as we learn of more names.

2024 3-star offensive tackle Ryan Howerton from Laurel, Maryland. Holds Power Five offers from Pitt, Boston College, Maryland and West Virginia. Howerton will visit on March 25.

2024 3-star tight end Ryan Ward from Rutherford, New Jersey. Holds Power Five offers from Pitt, West Virginia, Virginia Tech, Virginia, Syracuse, Duke and Boston College. Ward will visit on March 18th.

2024 offensive tackle Dwayne Chaney from Port Saint Lucie, Florida. Holds Power Five offer from Pitt. Ward will visit Pitt on March 21.

2024 linebacker Kaydon Degraffenfeid from Lake Orion, Michigan. Degraffenfeid will visit on March 18.

2025 defensive lineman Dior Garner from Canton, Ohio will visit Pitt on March 25.

2025 running back Kentrell Rinehart from Columbus, Ohio will visit Pitt on April 15.

2024 3-star wide receiver Jeremiah Watkins from Columbus, Ohio will visit Pitt on April 4. Watkins holds offers from Bowling Green, Central Michigan, UMass, Miami OH, Ohio U., Toledo and Western Michigan.

2024 4-star cornerback Ricky Knight from Palm Beach Garden, Florida will visit Pitt on March 19. Knight holds offers from Pitt, Florida State, Illinois, Iowa, Louisville, Miami, Minnesota, Penn State, Texas A&M, Central Florida and Wake Forest. Knight is a 2024 Top 200 national recruit.

2024 3-star defensive lineman Francis Brewu from Columbus, Ohio. Brewu will be visiting Pitt on March 14. Brewu holds offers from Pitt, Boston College, Cincinnati, Duke, Iowa State, Northwestern and a handful of MAC programs.

2024 3-star wide receiver Jaylen Watkins from Toledo, Ohio. Watkins will be visiting Pitt on March 18.

2024 safety Jermaine Agee from Cleveland, Ohio will be visiting on March 24. Agee holds offers from Marshall, Akron, UMass, Miami Ohio, Ohio U. and Toledo.

2024 3-star defensive end Javon Hammonds from Dayton, Ohio. Hammonds holds offers from Ball State, Bowling Green, Central Michigan, Indiana, Kent State, UMass, Ohio U., Purdue, Toledo and Western Michigan. Hammonds will visit Pitt on March 18 and April 1.

2024 wide receiver Jahmari Powell-Wonson from Baltimore, Maryland. Powell-Wonson will be in Pittsburgh on March 25 and holds offers from Pitt, Boston College, Maryland, UMass, North Carolina, Old Dominion, Syracuse, Virginia Tech and Wake Forest.

2024 3-star running back Tre McLeod from Wyncote, Pennsylvania. McLeod will be at Pitt on March 18 and holds offers from Pitt, Akron, Boston College, Bowling Green, Buffalo, Cincinnati, Maryland, Ole Miss, Nebraska, Penn State, Texas A&M, Toledo and West Virginia.

2024 3-star athlete Javier Ethridge from Cincinnati, Ohio. Ethridge holds offers from Pitt, Akron, Ball State, Bowling Green, Central Michigan, Duke, Eastern Michigan, UMass, Penn State, Toledo, West Virginia and Western Michigan. Ethridge is visiting Pitt on March 24.

2025 athlete Jai’mier Scott from Cincinnati, Ohio. Scott is visiting Pitt on March 24 and holds offers from Pitt, Akron, Central Michigan, Cincinnati, Duke, UMass, Miami Ohio, Penn State, Purdue, Toledo, West Virginia, Western Michigan and Wisconsin.

2024 3-star tight end Luca Puccinelli from Richmond, Virginia. Puccinelli will be visiting on April 10 and 11 and holds offers from Pitt, South Carolina, Virginia Tech, UConn, Duke, East Carolina, Liberty, Old Dominion, Rutgers, Wake Forest and West Virginia.

2025 quarterback Jahmeir Spain from Cincinnati, Ohio. Spain holds early offers from Central Michigan, Eastern Kentucky, Toledo and UNLV.
