Pitt Football Hosts Recruits at Acrisure Stadium Scrimmage

The Pitt football team moved across town to hold Saturday’s scrimmage, their third of the off-season, at Acrisure Stadium in front of recruits invited by the team’s staff.

Pat Narduzzi’s squad will have two more weeks of practice before playing the annual Blue/Gold Game.

Getting back to today’s action, here are some of the players that attended and a couple that received offers.

Jamison Kitna– 2025 quarterback from Lakota East High School in Middletown, Ohio. Hold offers from Pitt, Baylor, Duke, Houston, Texas Tech, North Texas, UAB and UTSA.

Frankie Williams– 2025 quarterback from Red Bank, New Jersey. Holds an offer from Maryland.

Dior Garner– 2025 defensive lineman from McKinley High School in Canton, Ohio. Holds an offer from Bowling Green.

Gabriel Williams- 2024 4-star linebacker from St. Vincent Pallotti High School in Laurel, Maryland. Holds offers from Pitt, Boston College, Cincinnati, Georgia Tech, Maryland, Memphis, Ole Miss, Notre Dame, Penn State, USC, Va Tech & WVU.

Josiah Oxendine- 2026 quarterback from Dillon, South Carolina. Oxendine Holds offers from Pitt, Tennessee, Marshall, Georgia Southern, Appalachian State and Akron.

AJ Marks– 2026 cornerback from St. Mary’s High School in Orchard Lake, Michigan. While on the visit, Marks received an offer from Archie Collins. Marks also holds offers from Akron, Bowling Green, Central Michigan, UConn, Louisville, Marshall, Penn State, West Virginia and Western Michigan.

Jackson Wiley– 2025 athlete from Olentangy High School in Lewis Center, Ohio. Wiley holds offers from Kentucky, Miami Ohio and Toledo.

Javon Hammonds, Jr.- 2024 3-star defensive end from Wayne High School in Dayton, Ohio. While on the visit, Hammonds (6’5″, 230-pounds) received an offer from Pitt, to go along with others from Ball State, Bowling Green, Central Michigan, Indiana, Kent State, Miami Ohio, Ohio, Purdue, Toledo and Western Michigan.

Gavin Grover- 2024 3-star tight end from Olentangy High School in Lew Center, Ohio. Grover (6’6″, 220-pounds) holds offers from Pitt, Kentucky, Akron, Ball State, Cincinnati, Indiana, Iowa State, Michigan State, Minnesota, Missouri, Ohio U., Rutgers, Virgina Tech, West Virginia and Western Michigan.
