According to Shams Charania of The Athletic, Champagnie was signed by the Boston Celtics on Monday.

Champagnie has been competing in the G League for the Sioux Falls Skyforce this season, averaging 18 points and eight rebounds per game in 23 games and 15 starts.

He played in 36 games last season for the NBA’s Raptors, averaging 7.8 minutes and 2.3 points per game. He scored 81 points and grabbed 72 rebounds in that rookie campaign.

Champagnie earned 1st Team All-ACC honors as a sophomore at Pitt,  averaging more than 18 points per game. The Brooklyn, New York native played 53 games for Pitt and scored 779 points in his collegiate career.

Not many Pitt or quasi-Pitt hoopers in the league … Adams, Champagnie, Cam Johnson and Khem Birch. Others?
