As Pitt continues to reach out to transfers in the portal looking to fill its four open scholarships, PSN continues to update the Panthers’ recruiting board.
The latest prospect to join the recruiting board is Isaac Jack, a 6-foot-11, 250-pound forward out of British Columbia.
According to Cerebro Sports’ Andrew Slater, the Panthers’ staff reached out to Jack, as has Oregon State, Vanderbilt, George Mason, Portland, St. Bonaventure, San Diego, and others. Slater also included that Jack has a visit to Vanderbilt planned.
Jack has played one season of college basketball, averaging 5.6 points and 4.2 rebounds per game for Buffalo in an average of 16.4 minutes per outing. His best game of the season came against Bowling Green State, when he hit seven of his eight field-goal attempts en route to a season-best 15 points.
Jack becomes the tallest player that the Panthers have reached out to in the portal so far. Pitt has mostly reached out to wings and guards in the portal, including wing prospect Zack Austin, who took an official visit to Pitt over this past weekend.
