On Wednesday, Pitt basketball’s Assistant AD of Scouting Jake Presutti was hired by the University at Buffalo for an Assistant Coaching role.
Presutti joined the Pitt staff in Oct. 2021, spending two seasons with the Panthers.
Presutti began his basketball career as a walk-on at Syracuse, prior to earning a scholarship to play for the Orange. He then kicked off his coaching career with stints with USA Basketball, the Houston Rockets, Eastern Michigan, and then Marquette. With the Golden Eagles, Presutti served as Director of Basketball Ops, Video Coordinator, and Assistant Coach. He then joined the Pitt staff in 2021.
Presutti also played an integral role in recruiting Pitt guard Greg Elliott, as the two formerly spent time at Marquette together.
