This week, Pittsburgh’s top prospect in the class of 2025 earned some more big-time offers to add to his exploding recruitment.
Lincoln Park’s five-star guard Meleek Thomas first earned an offer from the National Champion UConn Huskies earlier this week, and on Sunday, added an offer from Duke and head coach Jon Scheyer.
Thomas is ranked as the No. 1 point guard in the country by 247 Sports, who also lists him as the No. 7 overall player in the country. He recently played a huge role in the Leopards’ 3A State Championship run this season alongside Pitt commit Brandin Cummings and others. Thomas has had a huge year on the recruiting trail as well, and now holds offers from Duke, Connecticut, Michigan, Xavier, Villanova, Penn State, Missouri, Indiana, Pitt, Kansas State, and St. John’s. He recently took an unofficial visit to Villanova as well.
