More elite talent will be visiting the Pitt Panther football program.
2024 4-star safety Fred Gaskin III tells Pittsburgh Sports Now that he will be using one of his five official visits to Pitt. Gaskin (5’10”, 180-pounds) attends Vanguard High School in Ocala, Florida and is rated by Rivals.com as the No. 96 overall player in the Class of 2024.
Although he hasn’t locked down a date yet, Gaskin tells PSN that he’ll “100%” be visiting Pitt.
As you’d imagine, Gaskin holds an impressive list of offers- Alabama, Auburn, Colorado, Florida, Florida State, Georgia Tech, Louisville, Miami, Michigan State, Ole Miss, Penn State, Purdue, South Carolina and Tennessee.
The fact that Pitt will get a visit from this talented prospect is interesting because back on January 11, Gaskin announced a Top 8 of Michigan State, Auburn, Tennessee, Florida State, Ole Miss, Colorado, Alabama and Penn State.
