Report: Pitt to Compete in Preseason NIT Event in Brooklyn

According to Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports, Pitt will take part in the 2023 Preseason NIT event in Brooklyn this upcoming season.

NEWS: Baylor, Pitt, Florida, and Oregon State will headline the 2023 Preseason NIT at the Barclays Center, according to a source.

The event will take place in November, per Rothstein. There was no Preseason NIT event this past season.

Pitt’s schedule currently includes the following:

AUG. 5-14 — PRESEASON TRIP TO SPAIN/CANARY ISLANDS 

NOV (TBD) — PRESEASON NIT EVENT

DEC. 6 — PITT @ WEST VIRGINIA
