Over the last week, the Pitt Panthers have extended offers to a number of players in the Class of 2024.
On Thursday, the latest player to hear from the Pitt staff is a highly recruited offensive lineman.
2024 3-star offensive tackle Mason “Moose” Wade from Loudoun Valley High School in Purcellville, Virginia. Wade received the offer from Andre Powell.
The offer and the timing of it is interesting because back on May 1, Wade released a Top Five and said he’d be focusing on these schools: Boston College, Virginia Tech, Duke, North Carolina and Auburn. Some schools that offered but didn’t make Wade’s final list included Louisville, Maryland, Missouri, Tennessee, USC, Virginia and West Virginia.
The question now is does Wade’s recruiting change now with the offer from Pitt?
Pittsburgh Sports Now has reached out to Wade and hope to talk with him at some point today.
