Beasley plays safety for La Salle High School in Cincinnati, Ohio, stands at 6-foot and 180 pounds and is a member of the Class of 2024. Three Big Ten schools in Purdue, Rutgers and Wisconsin join Pitt in his top four programs.
247sports has him ranked as a four-star recruit, the No. 7 player in Ohio in his class , the No. 17 safety in the country and No. 216 in the country. Rivals ranks him as a three-star safety, No. 17 recruit in Ohio and No. 44 at his position, while On3 ranks him as a four-star athlete, No. 7 recruit in Ohio, No. 7 at his position in the country and No. 214 in the country.
Pitt has made Ohio a priority for many years and will continue to do so for years to come. There are 15 players on the roster for the upcoming 2023 season that hail from the bordering state including redshirt sophomore defensive back Tamarion Crumpley, who played for Winton Woods High School, which is in the northern suburbs of Cincinnati.
There are also two recruits from the state in the Class of 2024 already. This includes two three-stars in cornerback Tayshawn Banks out of Taft High School in Cincinnati and defensive lineman Francis Brewu out of Thomas Worthington High School in Worthingon, a suburb that borders Columbus to the north.
Beasley is the second defensive back to place Pitt in their top schools in consecutive days, with three-star defensive back Cornell Allen II putting them in his top 10 programs.
Safeties coach Cory Sanders and secondary coach Archie Collins have put in work on the recruiting trail for the Panthers. Getting Beasley to commit to Pitt would be a great step in the future of continuing to bring in and develop great defensive backs for the program.
