Update (5:45 p.m.)-

Pitt women’s basketball offered Orlagh Gormley on Monday. Gormley is a 5-foot-6 guard in the Class of 2024 who plays for Dexter Southfield School in Brookline, Mass., outside of Boston. Her AAU team is the MCW Starz and she holds offers from Atlantic-10 teams in George Washington, Loyola Ramblers and UMass, MAAC teams like Fairfield and Iona, Patriot League teams in Boston University, Bucknell, and Holy Cross, as well as Florida Atlantic,  Northeastern, Seton Hall and Youngstown State.

New Pitt head coach Tory Verdi offered her while at UMass and made sure to do so now as well. She also featured for the national squad for Ireland in the U18 Four Nations this Spring, which included England, Scotland and Wales.

Update (5:35 p.m.)-

Steel Valley Class of 2026 athlete Da’Ron “Daedae” Barksdale received an offer from Akron on Wednesday. Standing at 5-foot-11 and 175 pounds, Barksdale is receiving more interest from schools recently. He holds offers from Pitt, Syracuse, West Virginia and UNLV.

 

Update (1:30 p.m.)-

Pitt women’s basketball staff offered another player on Wednesday, in Class of 2026 guard Olivia Jones. Jones plays for Long Island Lutheran High School in Brookville, N.Y. and AAU for Team Northeast, while standing at 5-foot-10. She possesses a solid mid-range jumper and has an incredible transition game. Jones also holds offers from Arizona State, Michigan, Ohio State, St. John’s and Stony Brook.

Update (1:10 p.m.)-

Peters Township Class of 2025 Natalie Wetzel received an offer from Princeton on Tuesday. The 6-foot-2 guard/forward also plays for Western Pa. Bruins as her AAU team.

This is her third Ivy League offer along with Harvard and Penn. She also holds offers from ACC schools in Pitt and Boston College, Atlantic-10 schools in Davidson, Dayton, George Mason and St. Joe’s, MAC schools in Ball State, Buffalo and Kent State, Missouri Valley Conference schools in Belmont and Murray State, as well as Arizona State, Monmouth and Tulsa.

Update (12: 30 p.m.)-

Western Beaver Class of 2024 cornerback and wide receiver Mikey Crawford received an offer from Akron on Tuesday. Crawford attends Lincoln Park Performing Arts Charter School, but since they have no football team, he plays for Western Beaver. He also holds offers from Ohio, UConn, Boston College, Toledo and Michigan State.

Update (11:55 a.m.)-

Pitt women’s basketball continues to put work in on the recruiting trail, as new head coach Tory Verdi and his staff are building towards the future. They offered two players from the Class of 2026 and from Kansas City, Mo. in guards Addison Bjorn and Ava Miles. Bjorn and Miles both play travel ball for Della Lamb Basketball Club and for Park Hill South High School just outside Kansas City in Riverside, Mo.

Bjorn is a 6-foot-2 guard who is on the espnW Watch List in the 2026 HoopGurlz Recruiting Rankings. She holds many high-profile offers already from Big Ten schools in Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Nebraska, Ohio State and Purdue, Big 12 schools in Baylor, Cincinnati, Iowa State, Kansas, Kansas State, Oklahoma and Oklahoma State, SEC schools in Alabama, Auburn, Florida, Mississippi State, Missouri, Tennessee and Texas A&M, Big East schools in Creighton and  Xavier and ACC schools in Louisville, North Carolina and Virginia Tech.

Miles is a 6-foot guard and also holds many top offers including Big 12 schools in Iowa, Kansas, Kansas State and Oklahoma State, as well as Wichita State, Creighton and Nebraska.

Update (10:50 a.m.)- 

Mt. Lebanon Class of 2024 duo in offensive lineman/defensive lineman Connor Young and Beckham Dee both recently received offers from Georgetown and Robert Morris.

Young holds FBS offers from Air Force, Army and Navy, Ivy League offers from Columbia, Dartmouth, Penn, as well as FCS offers from Bryant, Bucknell, Colgate, Duquesne, Fordham, Furman, Holy Cross, Lafayette, Lehigh, Maine, New Hampshire, Richmond and Stony Brook.

Dee holds FBS offers from Air Force, Army, Navy and Toledo and FCS offers from Ivy League schools in Columbia, Penn and Princeton, as well as Bryant, Duquesne, Fordham, Holy Cross, Lafayette, Lehigh, Richmond, Stony Brook and William & Mary.
