Eric Ingwerson’s official visit just reaffirmed his commitment to Pitt, and he isn’t going anywhere.
The three-star tight end committed to Pitt back in March, and since then he’s been approached by other programs trying to get him to change his mind. In fact, his hometown school, Nebraska, has tried hard to get Ingwerson to flip but he tells PSN that’s not going to happen.

Prior to getting on a plane to head back to Papillion, Nebraska, Pittsburgh Sports Now caught up with Ingwerson to ask him about the last three days he spent in Pittsburgh.
“I had a great time on my official visit,” said Ingwerson. “My favorite part was meeting the team and getting to know the coaches even better. I also enjoyed touring even more parts of this beautiful city.

“I love Pitt even more than I did before. I’m 100% committed. I was talking with the players, and it felt like I was talking with family.”
I asked Ingwerson if Nebraska was actively trying to flip him and if so, did he have a message for the Pitt coaches and fans?
“Yes, they were, but I’m 100% committed.”
The 6-foot-7, 225-pound tight end visited Pitt back in March and made a commitment while in town and looks to be the heir apparent to Gavin Bartholomew.
