Pine-Richland 2024 3-Star Guard Ryan Cory Commits To Wisconsin

Pitt won’t be getting an official visit this weekend from Ryan Cory.

Wednesday night, the Pine-Richland offensive guard announced that he was committing to Wisconsin. Despite offering him last summer and being local, Cory and Pitt never gained much traction. Keep in mind, Wisconsin didn’t offer Cory until April, while on an unofficial visit.

Before selecting the Badgers, Cory held other Power Five offers from Boston College, Cincinnati, Duke, Kansas, Kansas State, Kentucky, Louisville, Maryland, Miami, Oregon, Penn State, Stanford, Vanderbilt, Virginia and West Virginia.

Cory becomes the 4th WPIAL player in the Class of 2024 to commit to a Big 10 program following Central Catholic’s Cole Sullivan to Michigan, Central Catholic’s Anthony Speca to Penn State and Belle Vernon’s Quinton Martin to Penn State.

Rivals.com ranked Cory as the No. 24 Pennsylvania prospect in the Class of 2024.

Didnt gain traction with Pitt? Is this a nice way of saying Pitt soured on the kid? Or vice versa – he didnt care for Pitt?
