Former Pitt assistant Mickey Jacobs has made the decision to take a job with the Duquesne Dukes football program.
This is a homecoming for Jacobs, who played for the Dukes and also was an intern and defensive quality control coach with Jerry Schmitt in 2018.
Jacobs then joined Pat Narduzzi’s program and has served the last four years as a recruiting assistant along with being a defensive graduate assistant.
Prior to his return to Duquesne, Jacobs was the Senior Defensive Analyst at Buffalo this past spring.
In his new role with the Dukes, Jacobs will be the new safeties coach and the special team’s coordinator.
Jacobs is a native of Western Pennsylvania having graduated from Fox Chapel High School.
