2024 3-star wide receiver Zy’Marion Lang has announced his Top 7 schools and it includes Pitt.
The 6-foot-3, 170-pound three-star wide receiver from Palmetto in Palmetto, Florida — released a Top 7 of Pitt, West Virginia, South Carolina, Texas A&M, South Florida, Kansas and Kansas State. Schools that offered Lang but didn’t make his cut were Boston College, Cincinnati, Duke, Indiana, Louisville, Miami, Nebraska, Ole Miss, Tennessee, Central Florida and Wisconsin.
Later this month, Lang has scheduled an official visit to Pitt from June 22-24.
As of now, Lang has official visits scheduled for West Virginia (June 9-11) and Pitt (June 22-24).
And it’s not hard to see why Lang is desired by Power Five programs from across the college football landscape.
As a junior at Palmetto last season, Lang fulfilled some double duty. He completed 9-of-15 pass attempts for 130 yards, but he did most of his damage by hauling in a team-high 28 receptions for 470 yards (16.8 yards per reception) and five touchdowns.
247Sports rates Lang as the 618th-ranked recruit in the class (80th-ranked wide receiver and 90th-ranked recruit from Florida). On3 rates him as the 87th-ranked wide receiver and 80th-ranked recruit from Florida. Rivals hasn’t rated him yet, but he does hold a 5.5 Rivals Rating.
With an official visit to Pittsburgh scheduled for the end of June, Lang will be one of the last official visitors to make it out to Pitt. Four-star wide receivers Nick Marsh and Keylen Adams were in town for visits from June 2-4, and three-star wide receivers Triston Ward, Ricky Johnson and Lang will be visiting from June 22-24.
