As has quickly become the norm with Pat Narduzzi, Pitt football is doing some serious recruiting in the month of June.

With the second weekend of official visits wrapping up today, at the time of this story, five players have made verbal commitments this morning while going through their exit interview with Narduzzi. This comes after last weekend when five ‘Pat Signals’ were released.

That means in the last two weekends, Pitt has gotten ten verbal commitments. Keep in mind, seven of these haven’t been made public yet.

Of these seven silent commitments, Pittsburgh Sports Now has confirmed four of them, with the players telling us they plan on making their decision public sometime in the near future. While we don’t give away the identity of the players, we can tell you that three of these players will be viewed as major gets.

When these announcements are made public, they will no doubt have a positive impact on Pitt’s team recruiting rankings.

Currently, Pitt stands at No. 18 with both Rivals.com and 247 Sports.com.

At this point, with the four commitments from this morning, Pitt has now collected 21 verbal commitments for the Class of 2024, which is the most by any program in the country.

MOST 2024 VERBAL COMMITMENTS AS OF JUNE 10:

  1. PITT — 21
  2. Notre Dame — 19
  3. Georgia — 17
  4. Penn State — 17
  5. Michigan — 17
  6. LSU — 16
