At midnight, college basketball coaches were finally able to contact recruits in the class of 2025 directly for the first time.
The Pitt staff was busy hitting the phones from the very start, calling numerous prospects early and continuing throughout the 15th.

Maluk told PSN that Pitt assistant Jason Capel was the first coach to call him after midnight.

Anthony is the son of NBA star Carmelo Anthony.
JALEN REECE – 5’10 G – OAKRIDGE (FL)
Reece is ranked as the No. 70 player in the class, per 247Sports.
TREY MCKENNEY – 6’4 G- ST. MARY’S (MI)
McKenney is the No. 22 player in the class, per 247.
TAI TURNAGE – 5’11 G – ST RAYMOND’S (NY)
Turnage told PSN that Pitt and San Diego reached out to him after midnight.
DANNY CARBUCCIA – 6’0 G – STEPINAC (NY)
No. 35 player in the nation, per 247 Sports.
TYLER JACKSON – 6’3 G – ST. FRANCES ACADEMY
Played alongside Panther Carlton Carrington last year at St. Frances (Baltimore).
TACKO FAWAZ – 6’9 F – THE PATRICK SCHOOL (NJ)
Plays for NY Rens, Papa Kante’s former AAU team.
DEZMON BRISCOE – 6’8 F – CRISPUS ATTUCKS (IN)
Plays for former Panther Nike Sibande’s high school.
MELEEK THOMAS – 6’4 G – LINCOLN PARK (PA)
Pittsburgh’s top prospect in years. No. 1 point guard in the class.
KOA PEAT – 6’8 SF – PERRY (AZ)
Peat, a five-star, is cousins with former Panther Jamarius Burton.
AKBAR WAHEED – 6’6 G – GEORGETOWN PREP (MD)
Waheed’s father has been on the Georgetown staff under Patrick Ewing for the last several years.
JALEN ROUGIER-ROANE – 6’5 G – SIDWELL (DC)
Rougier-Roane is unranked, but has offers from Marquette, George Mason, and others.
JACOB ROSS – 6’5 SF – LONG ISLAND LUTHERAN (NY)
Ross is in the top-60 in the country per 247. Kiyan Anthony’s teammate.
CHARLIE O’SULLIVAN – 6’10 F – LOOMIS CHAFFEE (CT)
O’Sullivan is from White Plains, New York — the same hometown as Pitt associate HC Tim O’Toole.
RJ GREER – 6’4 G – KETTERING ALTER (OH)
Greer is the son of former Panther Ricardo Greer.
ISAIAH HENRY – 6’5 G – CANNON (NC)
Henry is unranked but holds offers from Georgetown, Clemson, Georgia, and others.

Dixon holds an offer from the Panthers.

BADARA DIAKITE – 6’10 PF/C – NORTHWEST CATHOLIC (CT)
Diakite is the No. 4 ranked center in the class, according to 247.
