According to Jon Rothstein, Pitt has another non-conference opponent scheduled for next season.
The Panthers will take on North Carolina A&T at home, according to the CBS Sports Insider Rothstein.
North Carolina A&T went 13-19 last season overall, going 8-10 in CAA competition. The Aggies have lost eight players to the transfer portal this offseason, including standout Marcus Watson, who will compete at Seton Hall next year. In mid-May, NC A&T hired Monte Ross as its next head basketball coach.
Pitt head coach Jeff Capel III’s father, Jeff Capel II, formerly coached NC A&T from 1993-94.
