Top RB Commitments of the Narduzzi Era

It’s been a month since the last Pitt commitment but the long wait was worth it for the coaching staff.

Pitt was able to pull the top rated recruit from the state of New Jersey, who’s also one of the Top 200 overall prospects in the Class of 2024.

Yasin Willis is a big-time talent and someone that could very well become the next great running back produced by Pitt.

The native of New Jersey becomes the top rated recruit in Pitt’s Class of 2024 and one of the highest rated running backs that Pitt has landed under Narduzzi.

1. Mychale Salahuddin: 4-star recruit, No. 127 overall player, 5.9 rating. Offers from Arkansas, BC, Clemson, Georgia, Kentucky, Maryland, Michigan, Nebraska, North Carolina, NC State, Oklahoma, Purdue, Rutgers, USC, Vanderbilt, Virginia, VA Tech, West Virginia and Wisconsin.

2. Yasin Willis: 4-star recruit, No. 187 overall player, 5.8 rating. Offers from Rutgers, Michigan, Alabama, BC, Cincinnati, Kentucky, Louisville, Maryland, Ole Miss, Nebraska, Penn State, South Carolina, Syracuse, Virginia Tech and West Virginia.

3. AJ Davis: 4-star recruit, No. 247 overall player, 5.8 rating.  Offers from Arizona, Arizona State, Auburn, Florida, Florida State, Georgia, Louisville, Miami, Michigan, Michigan State, Mississippi State, Missouri, Nebraska, North Carolina, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Oregon, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas and Texas Tech.

4. Daniel Carter: 3-star recruit, 5.7 rating. Offers from Auburn, BC, Florida, Florida State, Georgia, Kansas, Kansas State, Michigan, Ole Miss, Ohio State, Rutgers, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia Tech.

5. Malik Newton: 3-star recruit, 5.7 rating. Offers from Clemson, Louisville, Maryland, Nebraska, North Carolina, Penn State, Purdue, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas A&M, Virginia, Virginia Tech and West Virginia.
