PITTSBURGH — West Virginia is in the rear-view mirror now as Pitt turns its attention to the task at hand with No. 17 North Carolina.
Andre Powell and Cory Sanders are preparing their units for tough matchups with the Tar Heels’ offense and defense, and Caleb Junko and Javon McIntyre are working to build off the first three games this season.
All four spoke to the media Tuesday after practice about what North Carolina brings and what Pitt needs to do to right the ship.
From past experience with All Carolina Conference referees, I expect the game to turn on 1, 2, or 3 pass interference calls on Pitt in the 3rd quarter. With a possible targeting disqualification thrown in for good measure.
