On Thursday, Duquesne will host a preseason tip-off event to prepare its fans for the upcoming men’s and women’s basketball seasons.

From 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 on Thursday, Oct. 5, Duquesne fans are invited to enjoy appetizers, drinks, and more. Speakers for the event will include ESPN bracketologist Joe “Joey Brackets” Lunardi, as well as Dukes’ head coaches Keith Dambrot and Dan Burt.

Duquesne basketball on Pittsburgh Sports Now is sponsored by The Summit Academy: setting young men on the path to a better future.

In addition, current Duquesne players will be in attendance for a photo and autograph session sponsored by the program’s NIL collective “Red and Blue Collective.”

Duquesne's 2024 March Madness Tournament coverage is sponsored by Leon's Billiards & More, Moon Golf Club and Archie's on Carson! Their contributions have allowed us to cover the Dukes run in Omaha, Nebraska. We appreciate their support!

Tickets for the event cost $10, unless you have purchased season tickets already (free in that case).

Duquesne’s men’s team brought back as much talent as the program has had in years while also bringing in  a talented transfer class. Tre Williams, Dae Dae Grant and Jimmy Clark III will look to lead the Dukes once more, along with transfers Andrei Savrasov, Dusan Mahorcic, Fousseyni Drame, and Hassan Drame.

Hoping the Dukes have a great season. Dambrot is clearly the City’s best
