WATCH: Diaz Graham Twins Sink Threes, Bub Carrington Converts Four-Point Play

Published

Pitt basketball sunk nine three-point shots in the first half of the 190th Backyard Brawl to take a 36-35 lead at halftime against West Virginia.

The Diaz Graham twins and Bub Carrington were a few reasons why.

Nearly halfway through the first 20 minutes of play, Jorge and Guillermo Diaz Graham sunk triples. Jorge’s three came from the left-side corner, while Guillermo drained his from the right-side wing.

Carrington converted on a four-point play after being fouled by former Robert Morris forward Pat Suemnick.

WVU led the all-time matchup 101-88 entering play.
