PITTSBURGH – Pitt basketball bounced back in a significant way from its loss to Miami. Following a road loss to Miami Saturday after nearly amounting a 19-point comeback, the Panthers returned home to host Wake Forest.
The Panthers trailed 37-27 at halftime and as much as 12 in the second half, but closed the gap and tied the score on numerous occasions. They finally grabbed the lead with 6:58 left and never looked back, closing the game with a 77-72 victory.
Pitt’s win puts the Panthers 4-6 in the ACC sparked a plethora of excitement on Twitter.
