Blake Hinson has been in the news all week for his stellar performances against No. 21 Virginia and Louisville, but is now in the news for something regarding his future.

Hinson was recently included by The Athletic’s Sam Vecenie in his latest 20024 NBA Mock Draft. Vecenie had Hinson getting drafted 55th overall (out of 58 picks) by the Los Angeles Lakers.

Check out Vecenie’s full mock draft here.

Fellow ACC players Kyle Filipowski (Duke – 9th), Kyshawn George (Miami – 16th), Jared McCain (Duke – 19th), Ryan Dunn (Virginia – 20th), Hunter Sallis (Wake Forest – 28th), PJ Hall (Clemson – 34th), Wooga Poplar (Miami – 51st) were also mocked by Vecenie to go in this year’s draft.

Hinson tested the NBA Draft process last year before deciding to return to Pitt. This year, as a senior, he is averaging a team-high 19.2 points per game and five rebounds per contest. Hinson, a 6-foot-8 forward, is one of the best three-point shooters in the country. This season, he is shooting 8.5 three pointers per game, making 3.6 per game on average. The Deltona, Florida native is shooting 43% from downtown on the year.

He had better use some of that NIL money and invest in an Albanian Rosetta Stone- that’s where he will be playing next year
