NEW YORK — Duquesne head coach Keith Dambrot, guards Jimmy Clark III and Dae Dae Grant and forward David Dixon speak with the media after the Dukes’ 83-73 win over Saint Louis in the 2024 Atlantic-10 tournament at Barclays Center in New York.

The Dukes spoke with the media, including Alan Saunders of Pittsburgh Sports Now, about the big win over Saint Louis, the prospects of facing Dayton for a third time this season in the A-10 quarterfinals, and Dambrot discussed his good luck charm, as his wife, Donna, was able to attend the team’s game for the first time all season. She has been battling breast cancer and had surgery in February.

Duquesne will play Dayton in the Atlantic-10 quarterfinals on Thursday. Dayton is the No. 3 seed, and beat Duquesne twice this year.

“In this league, it doesn’t matter where you finish from top to bottom, as you can tell,” Dambrot said. “Every game has been close. We were lucky to get out of here with a win.”
