Watch: Duquesne Players, Dambrot on Upset Win over Dayton

NEW YORK — Duquesne head coach Keith Dambrot and guards Jimmy Clark III and Dae Dae Grant talk about the team’s 65-57 Atlantic-10 quarterfinal win over Dayton on Thursday, March 14 at Barclays Center in Brooklyn.

Clark opened up about his big 3-pointer with under a minute left to break the game open for Duquesne, after the Dukes had just had a long scoring drought.

“It was a play call from the coaching staff,” Clark said. “They trusted me to make a play, whether that was to get to the basket, pass, or make a shot myself. The whole night, they knew I was going to attack the basket, so he kind of played me off, so I just took what he gave me and shot a 3.”
