There’s no question that the upcoming football recruiting classes from Western Pennsylvania are loaded with talent.

The class of 2025 has potential, but it’s the classes of 2026 and 2027 that are shaping up to be special when it comes to producing major college prospects.

Now if you want to have some fun and maybe start a friendly debate, ask, “When it’s said and done, which of the players in those recruiting classes will become the biggest national prospect?”

There are plenty of names to throw around, but it would appear that Westinghouse four-star defensive back Kyshawn Robinson is going to be one of the very top names to come out of Western Pennsylvania in the coming seasons.

Over the last calendar year, the 5-foot-10, 170-pound cornerback has picked up offers from some of the top programs in college football and that continued today as Robinson announced that his latest came from the Oklahoma Sooners.

Oklahoma joins a long, impressive list of offers that includes — Pitt, TCU, Oregon, Syracuse, USC, Washington, Penn State, Purdue, SMU, Boston College, Michigan State, Florida, Kansas, Texas A&M, Colorado, Houston, Illinois, Louisville, Kentucky, Wisconsin, Florida State, Tennessee, Maryland, North Carolina State, Nebraska and South Carolina.

In case you were wondering, Cory Sanders and Pitt were the second Power Four program to offer Robinson a scholarship. That took place over one year ago, on April 24, 2023. Nebraska was his first Division I offer.
