**While attending a SMU prospects camp, Pitt extends an offer to 2027 wide receiver Jeramie Tae’Shawn Cooper from Fort Worth, Texas. Cooper received the offer from Pitt assistant Jacob Bronowski. Cooper (6’3″, 215-pounds) holds other Power 4 offers from Texas Tech, Nebraska, Arizona, Colorado, Texas A&M, Wisconsin, Baylor and SMU.

**Central Catholic freshman wide receiver Max Roman will participate in the Pitt prospect camp on Sunday.

**Today, Pitt extends an offer to 2027 wide receiver Trenton Yancey from Arlington, Texas. Despite being a freshman, Yancey has a long list of offers that include Nebraska, Texas Tech, Arkansas, Baylor, USC, Oregon, SMU, Texas, Miami, Texas A&M, Colorado, TCU, Washington, Arizona, California, Wisconsin, Oklahoma, Mississippi State and Ole Miss.

**2026 athlete Caden Halajcio from Montour High in McKees Rock, Pa. picked up an offer from Robert Morris Friday. It’s the first Division I offer that Halajcio (5-foot-11, 180 pounds) has picked up.

Update (10:17 AM)- 

**Hopewell 8th grade quarterback James Armstrong will be taking part in the Pitt Rising Stars Prospect camp tomorrow. Armstrong is a big-time talent and will soon be receiving Power 4 offers. Won’t be surprising if he follows the same recruiting trajectory of players like Jance Henry, Khalil Taylor, Chrys Black.

**Continuing with the theme of young talent in the WPIAL, 8th grader Chrys Black Jr. received an offer from Syracuse. This becomes his first Power 4 offer. Black received his first D-1 offer from UNLV. Black will be attending Central Catholic High School.

Update (9:01 AM)-

**Another WPIAL freshman continues to pull in the offers. Seton-LaSalle 2027 athlete Khalil Taylor received an offer last night from Syracuse. Taylor holds other D-1 offers from West Virginia, UConn, Penn State, Nebraska, Akron, UNLV and Pitt.
