Who Left? See Which ACC Basketball Stars Transferred Out of Conference



Many top players from the ACC left the league this offseason through the transfer portal. While Pitt only lost two players (Federiko Federiko and William Jeffress), several other teams lost more than two players, including some stars. Check out the top players who left the league this year below.

Sean Pedulla – Virginia Tech -> Ole Miss

The 6-foot-1 guard has been an ACC standout for the last two seasons. As a sophomore in 2022-23, Pedulla averaged 15 points per game on 34% from three-point range while also dishing out 3.8 assists per contest. This past season, he improved even more, scoring 16.4 points per game and averaging 4.6 assists.

Norchad Omier – Miami -> Baylor

Jeremy Roach – Duke -> Baylor

Kevin “Boopie” Miller – Wake Forest -> SMU

M​iller spent just one season at Wake Forest after transferring in from Central Michigan. As a sophomore last season, the Chicago native averaged 15.6 points and 3.5 assists per game for the Demon Deacons, shooting 37% from three-point range with just over one make per game from deep.

Andrew Carr – Wake Forest -> Kentucky

Claudell Harris – Boston College -> Mississippi State

Mark Mitchell – Duke -> Missouri

Wooga Poplar – Miami -> Villanova

Poplar was one of the best shooters in the conference this past season, as he hit more than two threes per game at a 39% clip. After averaging 13.1 points per game for the Hurricanes, the Philadelphia native returned home through the portal to play for Kyle Neptune and the Wildcats.

Bensley Joseph – Miami -> Providence

Tre White – Louisville -> Illinois

Quadir Copeland – Syracuse -> McNeese State, Miles Kelly – Georgia Tech -> Auburn , Skyy Clark – Louisville -> UCLA, Federiko Federiko – Pitt -> Texas Tech, William Jeffress – Pitt -> Louisiana Tech.
