Pitt just about doubled its class of 2025 after the first official visit weekend, adding five commitments, and the Panthers are up to 11 with two more OV weekends on the horizon.

Pitt added five commitments over the last couple of days:

Pitt doesn’t have one of the top-ranked recruiting classes in the country. Elijah Dotson is the only four-star recruit in the class, and the lack of top-end talent hurts overall rankings. 247Sports ranks the class at 42nd, Rivals ranks the class at 39th and On3 ranks the the class at 57th.

It’s not really a concern that the class rankings aren’t very high, they’re never going to be. And there are some very intriguing recruits in the class.
