Pitt Coaching Staff Reaches Out to Recruits in Class of 2026

Pitt football recruiting class of 2026.

While recruits from the class of 2025 are currently in the midst of official visits, the class of 2026 came into the national spotlight at midnight on June 15.

Coaching staffs from around the country were able to contact recruits in the class of 2026 directly, and it was no was different with Pat Narduzzi and the Pitt coaching staff.

More than a handful of recruits have been contacted by the coaching staff, showing some of the early interest in the upcoming class. Here are some of the recruits who have heard from the Panthers since contact became permissible.

Josiah Oxendine — 6-foot, 185-pound quarterback from Dillon in Dillon, S.C.

Oxendine holds offers from Akron, Appalachian State, Florida A&M, Georgia Southern, Marshall, Pitt and Tennessee.

Demari Clemons — 5-foot-9, 165-pound three-star cornerback from Bennett in Buffalo, N.Y.

Clemons holds offers from Boston College, Buffalo, Michigan, Michigan State, Penn State, Pitt, Syracuse and West Virginia.

Michael Gildea — 6-foot-5, 280-pound three-star offensive lineman from the Hun School in Princeton, N.J.

Gildea holds offers from Boston College, Vanderbilt, Virginia Tech and Wake Forest.

Romin Seymour — 6-foot-5, 190-pound three-star quarterback from Elkins in Missouri City, Tx.

Seymore holds offers from Colorado, Florida, Florida State, Houston, Missouri, Pitt, Texas A&M and UTSA.

Dominic Turnbull — 6-foot-2, 175-pound cornerback from True North Classical Academy in Miami, Fla.

Turnbull holds offers from Colorado, FIU, Florida, Maryland, Miami, Michigan, Minnesota, Nebraska, Ole Miss, Pitt, Prarie View A&M, Syracuse, Toledo, UCF, USC, USF, Western Michigan and Wisconsin.

Payton Williams — 6-foot-3, 290-pound offensive lineman from Aledo in Aledo, Tx.

Williams holds offers from Duke, North Texas, Texas State, UTEP and UTSA.

Tavian Branch — 6-foot-4, 300-pound defensive tackle from Riverside in Taylor, Pa.

Branch holds offers from Pitt, Rutgers and Temple.

Rhett Morris — a 6-foot-3, 290-pound three-star offensive lineman from Don Bosco Prep in Ramsey, N.J.

Morris holds offers from Boston College, Pitt, Virginia Tech, West Virginia and UMass.

Ben Nichols — a 6-foot-5, 320-pound four-star offensive lineman from Davison in Davison, Mich.

Nichols holds offers Central Michigan, Eastern Michigan, Florida State, Georgia Tech, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Michigan State, Notre Dame, Penn State, Purdue, Tennessee, Virginia Tech and Wisconsin.
