Former Pitt offensive lineman Jaryd Jones-Smith has signed with yet another NFL team, and this time is looking to sustain his spot on the roster.

Jones-Smith has reportedly signed with the Atlanta Falcons, according to Aaron Wilson of KPRC in Houston.

The big 6-foot-7, 320-pound tackle has played sparingly in the NFL, appearing in just six games with the Las Vegas Raiders in 2020 and the Baltimore Ravens in 2021.

The 28-year-old has also spent time with the Houston Texans, Miami Dolphins, San Francisco 49ers and Washington Commanders.

Recently, Jones-Smith suited up for the inaugural season of the United Football League in 2024 for the St. Louis Battlehawks, where he earned All-UFL honors.

Jones-Smith went undrafted out of the University of Pittsburgh in 2018 after spending five seasons with the program.

His most productive year at Pitt came during his redshirt senior season when he appeared in 12 games, starting nine as a starter at right tackle. Following that season, he would get an invite to the 2018 East-West Shrine Game.

After not playing the entirety of the 2015 season due to a knee injury, Jones-Smith played eight games in 2016 with one start coming against Villanova.

During his redshirt freshman season, Jones-Smith played in 13 games, starting three at left tackle.

The Camden N.J. native came to Pitt as a three-star recruit out of West Catholic High School in Philadelphia.
