UPDATE, 1:30 PM: Khalil Taylor — a 5-foot-11, 180-pound athlete from Seton La Salle in Pittsburgh in the class of 2027 — picked up his latest offer from Zac Spavital and the Maryland Terrapins.

Taylor holds offers from Akron, Nebraska, Penn State, Pitt, Syracuse, Rutgers, UConn, UNLV and West Virginia.

UPDATE: 8:30 AM: Former Lincoln Park five-star guard Meleek Thomas is on campus at UConn today, taking an official visit. Thomas is visiting Dan Hurley’s squad which has won back-to-back national titles.


UPDATE, 8:20 AM: Upper St. Clair has an olympian. Brad Everett of the Pittsburgh Union Progress reported that Josh Matheny is headed to the 2024 Olympics after placing second in the 200 breaststroke competition. See below.


UPDATE, 7 AM: Larry Moon —  a 5-foot-11, 180-pound defensive back from Aliquippa in Aliquippa, Pa. — picked up a couple of offers Wednesday from schools out west.

Colorado State and San Jose State were the latest schools to extend offers for the talented athlete. He also holds offers from Akron, Kansas, Kentucky, LSU, Maryland, Miami, Michigan, Michigan State, Minnesota, Nebraska, Notre Dame, North Carolina, Ohio State, Penn State, Pitt, South Carolina, Tennessee, UCF, UNLV, USC, West Virginia and Wisconsin.
