Summer is the time for basketball staffs to hit the high-school recruiting ranks hard, while college teams are in and out of workouts and the elite high-school players in the country are on the road playing in national and local events.

This summer, Pitt’s staff has spent its fair share of time on the road, looking to bolster the future of the program with some younger recruits. Mainly. The staff has focused on 2025 recruits from what we can see offer-wise. The staff has reached out to at least 15 players in the class of 2026, a list that grows with each day as the contact period is now live. Let’s dive in to the players that the Pitt staff has offered so far this summer.

Isaiah Denis – 6’5 G (NC) – 2025

Denis is a 6-foot-5 guard out of Davidson, North Carolina. Denis was a three-star prospect on 247 Sports at the time of his Pitt offer, but has now shot up to top-50, four-star status. He has blown up this summer, and has received recent offers from 15 different high-major schools recently. Denis has added offers from Kansas, Michigan, Tennessee, Ohio State, Texas A&M, Clemson, Florida, Georgetown, California, Mississippi State, Wake Forest, LSU, Virginia, and Virginia Tech as of late.

Acaden Lewis – 6’2 G (DC) – 2025

Lewis, had an excellent performance in Indianapolis on the Nike EYBL circuit, where he averaged 17.8 points per game and made the EYBL First Team. Shortly after, the Panthers offered.

Lewis is a 6-foot-2, 170-pound combo guard out of Sidwell Friends School. His Pitt offer comes at a busy point in his recruitment, as he has also garnered interest from a handful of other high major programs since his explosion on the EYBL. This past week alone, he has scheduled an official visit to North Carolina and has received an offer from Kentucky.
