The Duquesne Basketball Recruiting Board

Introducing the 2025 and 2026 Duquesne basketball recruiting board, where we track offers, interest, and visits.

On Sunday night, Duquesne head coach Dru Joyce III offered two prospects: Omari Witherspoon (D.C.) as well as Jayden Taylor (DE).

As the Dukes’ recruiting continues to heat up, PSN would like to launch the Duquesne basketball recruiting board. This board will be updated with each offer that the Dukes extend, and all the interest that our staff can track down. Check it out below.

Duquesne basketball on Pittsburgh Sports Now is sponsored by The Summit Academy: setting young men on the path to a better future.

Taylor is a 6-foot-8 guard/forward who plays for Sanford School in Hockessin, Delaware. He also holds offers from Albany and Rider.

Check out Taylor’s film below, via his Twitter profile.

Witherspoon is a 6-foot-4 guard out of St. John’s College High School in Washington D.C. The Dukes were one of four programs to offer the talented guard this weekend, along with two high-major programs and another A-10 program: West Virginia, Virginia Tech, and VCU.

Duquesne's 2024 March Madness Tournament coverage is sponsored by Leon's Billiards & More, Moon Golf Club and Archie's on Carson! Their contributions have allowed us to cover the Dukes run in Omaha, Nebraska. We appreciate their support!

This summer, Witherspoon has taken visits to local schools George Mason (official) and George Washington (unofficial). Following this weekend’s action at DMV Live — a high school basketball event in the region — Witherspoon posted his stats on his Twitter account.

Vs. Roman Catholic: 6-10 FG, 3-4 3FG, 19 PTS, 5 REB, 2 STL

Vs. Sidwell Friends: 7-10 FG, 4-5 3FG, 18 PTS, 4 REB, 2 AST
