UPDATE, 4 PM: Duquesne women’s basketball has learned its 2024-25 Atlantic-10 scheduling fate. The Dukes’ home/away partners include Fordham, Rhode Island, St. Bonaventure and VCU, meaning ties against all four at home and on the road.

The Dukes will also play Davidson, Dayton, UMass, Richmond and Saint Louis at home and George Mason, George Washington, La Salle, Loyola Chicago and Saint Joseph’s on the road.

UPDATE, 2:30 PM: Peters Township forward Natalie Wetzel picked up her latest offer Thursday from Georgetown head coach Darnell Haney and the Hoyas.

Wetzel (6-foot-3) also holds offers from Kent State, George Mason, Buffalo, Tulsa, Arizona State, Dayton, Boston College, SJU, Belmont, Penn, Ball State, Murray State, Monmouth, Princeton, Toledo, Richmond, RMU, Seton Hal, Columbia, Miami and St. John’s.

UPDATE, 7 AM: Former Pitt defensive tackle Calijah Kancey received some national praise Wednesday morning.

Kancey is entering his second season with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers after being selected in the first round of the 2023 NFL Draft, and Brian Baldinger is expecting a breakout for Kancey and his teammate, linebacker Yaya Diaby. Kancey recorded 26 tackles (19 solo), 10 tackles for loss, four sacks and a pass breakup as a rookie.
