2025 Prospect with Pitt Offer Narrows List Down to Six Schools

2025 Prospect Adrien Stevens Narrows Recruiting List Down to Six Schools

Class-of-2025 prospect Adrien Stevens narrowed his recruiting list on Tuesday and included several ACC teams as well as Big East teams.

However, the Panthers were not among the six teams listed. Stevens, a 6-foot-4 guard from Potomac, Maryland, trimmed his list down to Notre Dame, Florida State, Georgetown, Marquette, Tennessee, and Villanova.

Despite Pitt being left out, this is no sign to panic for Panther fans. Pitt is heavily involved with several other 2025 guards, including Derek Dixon, Amari Evans, Isaiah Denis, Meleek Thomas, and others. Check out the updated 2025 Pitt recruiting board below!

Stevens received an offer from the Panthers back on July 19, 2023. Milan Brown was the first to watch Stevens from the Panthers staff and then head coach Jeff Capel came in and offered, as explained in PSN’s interview with Stevens from nearly a year ago.

“It was exciting, it was a blessing,” Stevens told Pittsburgh Sports Now about his offer. “It’s big time, for sure. ACC school. I know a couple of people that went there. My middle school basketball coach actually, he went to Pitt and he always talks about them and watches them play basketball. He’s a fan of them. It’s just a really cool thing to experience.”

However, it is unclear how hard the Panthers were after him since that offer. With no visit to the program, it seems as though both parties were focused elsewhere. The Panthers may run into him in the future, as two ACC schools made the cut in Stevens’ final list.
