UPDATE, 9 AM: Former Point Park (NAIA) basketball player Jo Valrie committed to Division One Southern Illinois-Edwardsville.

He will compete in the Ohio Valley conference.

Very cool story here. Jo Valrie began his career at National Park College (JUCO), then went to Point Park (NAIA) in Pittsburgh.

UPDATE, 7 AM: Larry Moon III — a 5-foot-11, 180-pound defensive back from Aliquippa in Aliquippa, Pa. — spent the weekend out on the West Coast over the weekend. He checked out the Oregon Ducks football program.
