Pitt’s women’s basketball staff, led by second-year head coach Tory Verdi, has been on the recruiting trail all summer trying to track down future Panthers.
Pittsburgh Sports Now has now launched the Pitt women’s basketball recruiting board for fans to track all of the programs offers at the high-school level.

Let’s take a look at some of the prospects that the staff has offered lately.
MYAH EPPS – 2026 – Homestead HS (IN)
The 5-foot-10 guard thanked assistant coach Candice Finley and Verdi in her offer post on social media. Epps plays in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
MEREDITH VENNER – 2025 – The Academy of Central Florida (FL)
The 6-foot-2 forward has experience playing for the Columbian national team. In 2023, Venner competed in the FIBA Olympic Pre-Qualifying Tournament, averaging six points and two rebounds per game.
MIMI THIERO – 2026 – Quaker Valley (PA)
The 6-foot-4 forward is a local star, playing for Quaker Valley in Western PA. The Panthers’ staff offered Thiero on July 16.
ASIA WILSON – 2025 – Bishop Kearney (NY)
The 5-foot-5 point guard plays her summer ball for Team Northeast. Pitt offered on July 3.
JANIYAH HARGRAVE – 2028 – Kettering Fairmont (OH)
Hargrave is the one of the youngest prospects on the list. She already holds offers from schools such as Michigan, Ohio State, Xavier, and Mississippi State, in addition to Pitt.
TAYLOR STANFIELD – 2028 – Mason (OH)
Stanfield is one of several FBC New Youngunz prospects that holds an offer from Pitt. She is a 6-foot guard.
JAYDEN MCCLAIN – 2029 – Ryle (KY)
McClain competed at Pitt’s camp at the Petersen Events Center alongside Stanfield and Hargrave, and received an offer from the Panthers’ staff.
BELLA RAGONE – 2025 – Mill Creek (GA)
Ragone plays for ATL Bucks BC in the summer. She is a 6-foot-2 combo guard.
MYA ClARK – 2027 – McDonogh (MD)
The 6-foot-3 prospect received an offer from the Pitt staff in April.
AUBREY BECKHAM – 2025 – Hebron Christian (GA)
Beckham is a 5-foot-10 prospect with offers from schools such as Penn State, Ohio State, Baylor, Wisconsin, and more.
MISSY ODOM – 2026 – Jasper (AL)
The 6-foot-3 Odom also holds offers from Auburn, Penn State, Georgia Tech, and more. She received an offer from the Panthers’ staff in late May, as did her teammate Beckham.
DANIELLE OSHO – 2025 – Hebron Christian (GA)
Osho is another prospect that plays for FBC. She included Pitt in her top six list on July 24.
ZANIYAH WILLIAMS – 2026 – Catholic HS (VA)
Williams, a guard, plays for the loaded WV Thunder program.
ZANIYA JOHNSON – 2027 – Biloxi HS (MS)
Johnson is a 6-foot-4 power forward who also holds offers from Florida State, Providence, and others in addition to Pitt.
MEYUANA WEBB – 2027 – Valdosta HS (GA)
Webb is a 5-foot-9 guard who recently visited Auburn. Pitt offered earlier this year.
KIE’AUNDRIA ACREE – 2027 – Monroe (GA)
Acree is a 6-foot-1 wing prospect out of Georgia. Acree holds offers from Providence, Baylor, and others.
HOLLAND HARRIS – 2025 – Montverde (FL)
Harris is a top-50 prospect in the nation, per ESPN.
KAMRAH BANKS – 2026 – Crispus Attucks (IN)
Banks earned an offer from Verdi last summer in July 2023.
JACY ABII – 2026 – Liberty (TX)
Abii is a five-star prospect out of Frisco, Texas. She played for the 2024 USA Women’s U17 National Team.
ADDISON BJORN – 2026 – Park Hill South (MO)
Bjorn, out of Riverside, Missouri, is one of the top players in the class of 2026. She played for Team USA recently as well on the U17 National Team.
