Jaland Lowe has received plenty of hype this offseason — in large part due to his performance near the end of his freshman campaign as well as his performance at the CP3 Elite Camp this summer.

Now, he has been invited to another big event with several other elite college basketball stars.

Lowe was listed on the Nike Elite Skills roster. The event is currently taking place at Nike Basketball Academy in Portland, Oregon and will last  through Monday and Tuesday.

Pitt’s sophomore point guard is coming off an outstanding freshman campaign in which he averaged 9.6 points and 3.3 assists per game for the Panthers. Lowe had 17 games in double figures (scoring-wise), and even dropped 17 points, four rebounds, and four assists in Pitt’s final game of the season in the ACC Tournament against North Carolina.

Lowe recently competed at the Chris Paul CP3 Elite Camp in Las Vegas, Nevada, showing off his skills against some of the top guards in the country in high school and college basketball.

Lowe made the list along with 14 other collegiate players, including ACC players Jallil Bethea (Miami), Donnie Freeman (Syracuse), Naithan George (Georgia Tech), Drake Powell (North Carolina), and Jamir Watkins (Florida State). There is also a high-school roster for the event, and that roster included Pittsburgh native Meleek Thomas, who is now playing for Overtime Elite in Atlanta, Georgia. Thomas is one of Pitt’s top targets in the class of 2025. He recently dropped his top-seven list, one that included the Panthers.

Thomas included the Panthers along with UConn, Kansas, Alabama, Auburn, Kansas State, and Arkansas.
