On Wednesday, a Central Catholic player earned his first division two offer.
Central Catholic’s Enzo Khalil, a 6-foot-2 guard in the class of 2026, received an offer from D2 Slippery Rock head coach Ian Grady.
“After attending Slippery Rock Men’s Basketball Elite Camp and a great conversation with @CoachGradyIG I am blessed and thankful to receive my First Division 2 offer from @RockBasketball!!!” said Khalil on Twitter. All glory to god!”
Khalil also plays football for the Vikings, and lists himself as a WR/OLB on the gridiron.
Shortly after announcing the offer, Khalil received some kind words from Central Catholic head coach Brian Urso.
“Really happy for my guy @Enzo_Khalil07,” Urso said on Twitter. “A huge junior year awaits this young man, and I cannot wait to watch his journey continue this winter. Let’s keep the foot on the gas pedal, and keep working each day to get better.”
Khalil competed this spring for Team Wildcat alongside Zion Moore, Amir Turner, and others on the Hoop Group circuit.
