Meleek Thomas will host coaches from UConn, Arkansas, Pitt, and Kansas State, a source close to Thomas told Pittsburgh Sports Now.

As another summer week begins, we have some more updates to the Pitt basketball recruiting board, specifically in 2025.

Local prospect Ama Tening Sow had heard from Pitt a bit during his recruitment. There was no offer on the table and the interest did not appear to be too emphatic. Regardless, Sow committed to UT Martin (D1) last week so he is officially off Pitt’s radar.

Jordan Smith Jr. was one of the players in the class of 2026 that the Pitt staff reached out to in mid-June right when it was finally allowed to. Now, Smith is blowing up. The five-star prospect has recently picked up offers from the following programs: UConn, Duke, Kansas, North Carolina, Alabama, and Michigan.

In case you missed it, Adrien Stevens has already been taken off the Pitt board, as he narrowed his list weeks ago and did not include Pitt.
